FAMILY HISTORY
1880, the man, unfortunately, I never met. Was one of my gran, gran, grandfathers. Decided to buy the land and plant the vineyard. At that time, only the richest could do so. I do not know where the poor guy got the money. Maybe it was just a small vineyard. By luck, his son, my mom’s grandfather, got that vineyard after. Amazing winemaker he was. The richest of the nearby town came to him every Sunday: to drink the wine, eat, and take wine home. Even today, the elderly remember him as having the best wine around. Maybe I have his heritage. When my parents married, they decided to expand. They bought more vineyards and put wine enthusiasm in my crave.
WINEMAKER STORY
I KAZIMIR KOLENC came to this beautiful blue planet on March 3, 1972, by luck, thanks to my nice wine-making parents. The little boy came into contact with wine at the age of 2. The doctor suggested 1 teaspoon of wine after lunch because of the lack of enzymes in the stomach. Somehow the boy always liked to be in the vineyard, whether for playing, working, or eating grapes. When the time was right, the decision was made to learn more about winemaking and modernization. Build the new modern wine cellar and expand the vineyards. 2013 renewed 80% of the vineyards. 2014, signed the contract to become an organic wine grower. The first organic wine was certified in 2017. I’m honored to present to you my four different organic white wine varieties.
KOLENC VINO CORP. STORY
Our company was established on February 3. 2020. The idea to establish the corporation was born shortly after I committed LOVE to my partner Merceditha on March 20. 2019. That time I said to her, I LOVE YOU, for the first time. For our corporation, we chose to have our annual meeting on that special day, March 20. Out of our great love, that has grown, although we have been separated for nearly a year. We are both enthusiastic people. Merceditha’s dream was to have a wine bar when she was a teenager. I was very amazed to hear that. I, Kazimir, as an Oganic Winemaker, couldn’t let this idea remain only an idea. Shortly after, we agreed to bring my excellent wines to the Philippines. Our LOVE and TRUST have been growing. So we believe that trust and love for my wines will grow here as well. Thank you, my love, for that opportunity.
